Heritage School Fairs across Canada encourage students to explore Canadian heritage in a dynamic, supportive, hands-on learning environment. Students choose their own topic, research and write about the topic and then choose a format to present their project. Project topics are very diverse and may focus on history, heritage, geography or culture.

To pull off an event this size we need lots of volunteers. With over 100 student projects, we need as many as 100 volunteer judges. These judges review at least three student presentations and provide positive and constructive written feedback to students. Time Commitment: 9 am to 1 pm
Description of Volunteer Position:
By volunteering in this position, you give our students an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge. You provide key feedback in this celebration of the work the students have done. Each judge will adjudicate at least 3 student projects. You will listen to their presentation, ask some follow-up questions and then provide the students with written feedback. You will then complete a rubric for each student which is thenreturned to the Heritage Fair team.
